Coach Bocanegra brings a wealth of experience to the Rockets program, having previously coached at Beeville and Rockport-Fulton. Known for his Slot-T offense, he employs a dynamic and disciplined scheme designed to keep opposing defenses off balance and create opportunities for explosive plays. He currently serves as the Rockets' Offensive Coordinator, Head Golf Coach, and a Social Studies teacher. Coach Bocanegra's diverse coaching background and commitment to student success make him a valuable leader both on the field and in the classroom.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Coach Anderson attended Wofford College on a football scholarship. As an offensive lineman, he earned All-Conference honors and helped lead his team to a Southern Conference Championship.With more than 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Anderson began his career at Tomball Junior High before moving to Fort Stockton High School. He has spent the past 10 years at Kennedy High School, where he currently serves as the Rockets Defensive Coordinator, Head Powerlifting Coach, and a Social Studies teacher. His dedication to developing student-athletes has made him a respected leader both on the field and in the classroom.

Coach Olivarez is a proud graduate of Kennedy High School, Class of 1997. After graduation, he continued his athletic career as a walk-on with the Texas A&M University–Kingsville baseball program, where he competed for two seasons. He later earned a degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2003. Following a brief coaching stint in Pleasanton, Coach Olivarez returned to the Edgewood community with a passion for mentoring and developing young student-athletes. He recently completed his Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA) from Concordia University Irvine. Today, Coach Olivarez serves as the Rockets Wide Receivers Coach and Head Baseball Coach. Whether on the football sideline or the baseball diamond, he is committed to building strong athletes, mindful students, and future leaders.

Coach Jackson attended Carthage High School, where he excelled in multiple sports and earned All-Area honors in both football and baseball. He continued his athletic and academic career at Panola College, where he was a member of a National Championship baseball team. Jackson later transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University, where he competed in both football and baseball while earning a degree in Finance. His diverse athletic background and competitive experience have helped shape his coaching philosophy and commitment to student-athlete development. Coach Jackson currently serves on the Rockets football staff and is also the head softball coach, where he continues to make a positive impact on athletes both on and off the field.
